A fantastic weekend thanks to WMAGA. Stage 2 Gymnastics Club appeared on the podium with:

We are so proud of three of our young gymnasts who competed in their first ever four-piece gymnastics competition today at North Solihull Sports Centre.

Grade 14 is the very first grade our gymnasts compete in. The children perform National Development Plan routines which are implemented by gymnastics clubs across the UK, not just here in Shrewsbury.

We were extremely impressed with their professionalism, focus and hard work.

Emily Flack, Mae Blower and Danni Jukes all came away from the competition with well deserved Distinctions. Competing against 43 other girls from aross the West Midlands, their results were as follows.....(click read more below)

Five of our squad gymnasts put in impressive gymnastics performances today at the Birmingham GMAC to come away with a bronze medal, 4 distinctions and a pass at National Development Plan Grade 11.

Ellie Pugh took home a bronze medal placing above 40 children from across the West Midlands region to land a place on the podium. Her trademark artistic flair on the floor and solid beam work saw high scores on all four pieces of apparatus.

Emily Evans was hot on her heels to take 5th place overall and a distinction. She wowed the judges to place 2nd on vault, and a superbly executed floor routine saw her place 3rd.......(click read more below)
